Khao Sok Kayaking Tour

This magnificent national park is within reasonable distance to the popular tourist destination of Phuket. The park is surrounded by green mountains with abundant and protected wildlife. Khao Sok National Park will give you the opportunity to view lakes, waterfalls and jungle life, literally in the middle of nowhere.

Many species of birds live within the park. It is possible to site up to 15 species of King Fishers and resident Hornbills on a daily basis. Various monkeys including Gibbons and long tailed Macaques also make appearances throughout the day. Elephants and tigers do reside in Kao Sok and occasionally make a “guest” appearance – but no promises As we often say, “we can’t, and don’t attempt to control nature’s way”!

The main base will be unique floating bamboo bungalows located in a remote area of the massive 165 square kilometer Khao Sok National Park reservoir. These bungalows are very basic. Natural eco materials such as Bamboo and the thatched roofs provide a very simple, environmentally friendly shelter which fits well with the jungle surroundings. There is electricity in the bungalows, restaurant and toilets until the late evening when they turn the generator off. The jungle solitude of this eco-tour and the joy of a Kayaking holiday surrounded by the many birds and wildlife will bring you back here time after time, with a different exciting experience each time.
